There have been umpteen experiments in storytelling by filmmakers, with different and unique screenplays. One such is the reverse screenplay, which is what one gets to witness in Dear Sathya. This makes Dear Sathya the film quite novel. The thing with this style of screenplay is that it needs to be dealt with carefully, as the story can become predictable, and this is where Shivaganesh stumbles right from the beginning.The film opens with the audience getting to know Sathya, a food delivery executive. From his love for his mother, to his love story, friendships and passion to outdo opponents, Sathya’s character has it all. Sathya’s past life is revealed while he is also on the hunt to kill the people who have wronged him. What is the reason for this quest of his? Does he manage to kill them all? What is the double climax that one sees in this film? This forms the latter half of the story.
