Din The Day (2022) HD

After an eight-year hiatus, Ananta Jalil’s new film ‘Din The Day’ will officially herald his return to the big screen in July 2022. Long time co-star and wife Barsha stars opposite him as co-lead on the film that has the distinction of being a joint collaboration with the country of Iran. Principal photography took place in Iran, Turkey, Afghanistan and Bangladesh.

In 2018, a production team from Iran made a documentary film about Rohingya genocide titled Buddha’s Shame, directed by Morteza Atashzamzam. After watching Ananta’s films, the Iranian ambassador to Bangladesh submitted a report about him to the Iranian government. He then put the production team in touch with Ananta Jalil. Then Jalil was invited to Iran by the Iranian government. On June 18, 2018, Ananta met with Alireza Tabesh of the Farabi Cinema Foundation to discuss the concept of the film. Ananta Jalil said he wanted to make a film that would highlight the real Islam. Alireza Tabesh then said that he was willing to produce the film but that the script of the film should be satisfactory to them.

In October 18 of the same year, a film related agreement was signed.[ It is known that Morteza Atashzamzam jointly produced the film with Monsoon Film. The shooting of the film started on 27 February 2019. Ananta Jalil was injured while shooting in Herat, in March, and the shooting was postponed for at least two weeks. Its shooting was postponed again in July 2020 due to the COVID-19 epidemic. Four months later, the shooting resumed on October 30. The shooting ended on 18 November.[8] The film was shot on 8K camera.
