IceCream is a Bangladeshi coming-of-age romantic drama film written and directed by Redoan Rony and produced by Shukla Banik under the banner of Ping Pong Entertainment. Prominent musician Kumar Biswajit composed two songs for the film, sung by late singer Bari Siddiqui and Momtaz, respectively. Proshoon Rahmaan’s previous films “Sutopa’r Thikana” and “Jonmobhumi” both premiered on the IFFSA Toronto in 2016 and 2019, respectively, and received critical acclaim upon release.Proshoon Rahmaan’s third feature film“Dhaka Dream” will represent Bangladesh in the 2021 International Film Festival of South Asia, Toronto (IFFSA Toronto).This is the largest South Asian film festival in North America and the second largest film festival in Canada. The film will premiere on August 20 at Bangladeshi time 6.30pm.“Dhaka Dream” received the uncut censor certificate earlier this year and is set to hit the theatres in the first week of September given that the Covid-19 cases go down.
